We are seeking an experienced and talented Lean / Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our Charlotte Operations. The successful candidate will be the key player in establishing and directing lean manufacturing practices, processes, and procedures, along with facilities' design and equipment utilization, so as to enhance ongoing plant production. This position utilizes lean manufacturing principles to minimize inventory, maximize throughput, optimize facility utilization, and reduce all forms of waste. Primary responsibilities include: Increasing the pace of Lean Manufacturing principles adoption, supporting Quality improvement initiatives and projects, helping the plant to achieve KPI's, helping to supervise, train, and develop lean manufacturing "bench strength" understanding, learning and effectively deploying World Class Manufacturing tools to solve problems, improve product quality and eliminate waste. Printing/packaging experience a plus.
This person will be an individual contributor who will have to develop solid relationships within a matrix financial organization. In addition, to be successful this person needs to demonstrate the ability to understand the business and what influences the forecasting process (which we do weekly). We lean heavily on doing weekly forecasts against our budget and this position needs to demonstrate a command level knowledge of our financial status and be able to discuss and explain variances. This will require that the person establish strong relationships throughout the organization. This is a visible position with good career potential for a mobile person.Ideally we would want a person who cut their teeth in general accounting functions and has supervised others. Printing Sales Reps. Needed in Southern CA & Salt Lake, UT. Top candidates will have a minimum of 3-5 years sales experience in print management solutions.
